FOOLCAST 002 - CONGOROCK "THE FURIOUS YEARS"

Volume 2 of the FOOLCAST series comes from none other than our own electro prodigy Congorock, but it's not what you might expect. We listen to all kinds of stuff at FG HQ and want the FOOLCAST to reflect that - so we asked him to put together a mix of some of his punk and hardcore favorites that would show off a different side of his personality and keep things musically unpredictable on the blog.

Says Rocco: Hey brothers, here's my hardcore punk mix for Fool's Gold. I wanted to call it "The Furious Years" like something related to the past - its old stuff (nothing after 2003) that I listened to when I was younger. It was total fun working on this because I rediscovered music I didnt remember at all! I put some tracks from my old bands (La Quiete and Death Of Anna Karina), Steve Aoki sings on the This Machine Kills track (his old band), and there's even a His Hero Is Gone track called "Fool's Gold". I hope you like it!
